Loss of pigment of the skin, as occurs in leukopathia or vitiligo.

Pseudoacanthosis nigricans
A velvety, pigmented thickening of the flexural surfaces, occurring in dark-skinned obese persons. The prevalent type of acanthosis nigricans, a condition marked by the emergence of darkened patches of thickened skin within the body’s different skin creases.

Pseudesthesia
An imaginary or false sensation, as that felt in the lost part after amputation. A perceived sensation without any discernible trigger, such as feeling pain in a limb that has been amputated.
