Pseudocirrhosis
Any disease or condition that produces signs and symptoms that falsely suggest of cirrhosis (e.g., right-sided heart failure, constrictive pericarditis, or metastatic breast cancer).

Pseudochromidrosis
The appearance of colored sweat, in which the sweat acquires its color after it is excreted.

Pseudochromesthesia
A condition in which sounds, especially of the vowels, seem to induce a sensation of a distinct visual color.

Pseudocholesteatoma
Hard epithelium present as a mass in the tympanic cavity in association with chronic inflammation of the middle ear.

Pseudocast
A sediment in urine composed of epithelial cells and resembling a true cast; a false cast. Alkaline urine tends to dissolve pseudocasts.

Pseudoataxia
A condition resembling ataxia but not due to tabes dorsalis.

Pseudoapoplexy
A mild condition simulating a stroke but not accompanied by cerebral hemorrhage.

Pseudoaneurysm
A dilation or tortuosity in a vessel that gives the impression of an aneurysm.

Pseudoanemia of pregnancy
A drop in hematocrit during pregnancy. The increase in circulating blood volume reflects an altered ratio of serum to red blood cells; plasma volume increases by 50%, whereas the red blood cell count increases by 30%.

Pallor of mucous membranes and skin without other signs of true anemia.
