Myalgia

Pain in a muscle or muscles.


Tenderness or pain of the muscles themselves; muscular rheumatism.

Diffuse muscle pain, occurring in many infectious (e.g., influenza, measles, rheumatic fever, toxoplasmosis) and other disorders (e.g., fibromyositis, Guillain-Barre syndrome, muscle tumor), and sometimes as the result of certain drugs.
