A disorder affecting the skin and mucous membrane.
A form of cutaneous leishmaniasis, involving principally the nasopharynx and mucocutaneous membranes, found in parts of Central and South America. The causative organism is Leishmania braziliensis transmitted by sandflies, usually of the genus Lutzomyia.
