Memory T-cell

This specific variety of white blood cell, alternatively termed a memory T-lymphocyte, plays a role in the immune system’s reaction to viruses, parasites, and cancer cells. Memory T-cells possess the ability to identify viruses, parasites, or cancer cells that the body has come across in the past. Among them, certain are categorized as killer T-cells, which attach to infected cells and subsequently release harmful proteins to eliminate these cells.
