Lemon sole

Lemon sole, despite its name, is actually a type of flounder and not a member of the sole family. These fish can be found in the seas spanning from northern Scotland all the way down to the Mediterranean, but are most commonly found in the chilly waters of the North Atlantic and the English Channel. They are available year-round, and while typically smaller than regular soles, the largest lemon sole ever recorded measured up to 14 inches in length.
