Integral dose

In the context of radiation exposure, a specific dose is calculated for a particular region of the body. This calculation takes into account factors such as the size of the field, the dose absorbed by the skin, and the depth within the tissue where the dose reduces to half of the skin dose. This calculated dose is typically expressed in units of roentgens (R) and is also referred to as integral absorbed dose or volume dose.
