Innominate artery

The brachiocephalic artery giving rise to the right subclavian and right common carotid arteries.


The largest branch of the arch of the aorta; which continues as the right common carotid and right subclavian arteries.


Artery arising from the arch of the aorta that divides into the right subclavian artery and the right common carotid artery, supplying blood to the right side of the head and neck and the right shoulder and arm.


A short artery originating as the first large branch of the ‘aortic arch, passing upward to the right, and ending at the lower neck near the right sternoclavicular joint. Here it divides into the right common carotid and the right subclavian arteries.


The right artery arising from the arch of the aorta and dividing into the right subclavian and right common carotid arteries.


The biggest offshoot from the aortic arch. Also known as the brachiocephalic artery.
