Fluid accumulation in central canal of spinal cord.
A condition in which fluid swells the central canal of the spinal cord.
A dilatation of the central canal of the spinal cord (which is a continuation of the ventricular system of the brain). It has been suggested that the canal is distended by a rise in the pressure of the ventricular cerebrospinal fluid caused by a blockage to its normal outflow to the surface of the brain. The patient’s symptoms are those of syringomyelia.
Increased fluid in the central canal of the spinal cord.
