Green pepper

The capsicum plant produces a distinctive, pear-shaped fruit that is characterized by a fluted exterior. The fruit is available in various shades, including green, yellow, and red, which correspond to both the degree of ripeness and the particular strain of the plant. When the fruit has reached full maturity, it will have developed a shiny exterior that is often considered quite eye-catching. In certain cases, the ripest peppers are referred to by the Spanish term “pimiento,” adding a touch of international flair to this already unique produce.
