Symptoms can include seizures and signs of brain disturbance. The tumors are treated with surgery or surgery with radiation therapy.
A type of astrocytoma marked pathologically by the presence of extremely abnormal malignant brain cells. Clinically, this tumor is among the most aggressive of the primary brain tumors. Survival 1 to 2 years after diagnosis is rare. Treatments include radiation therapy and chemotherapy.
