Garlic bread

To prepare this dish, begin by cutting a loaf of French bread into 1-inch slices, being careful not to cut all the way through to the bottom crust. Next, mix together some softened butter, a generous amount of chopped parsley, and a finely chopped clove of garlic (using a garlic press if available). Spread this butter mixture between the slices, ensuring that the top of the loaf is also coated with any remaining butter. Finally, wrap the entire loaf in aluminum foil and place it in a preheated 400° oven for 15 to 20 minutes. To keep it hot, serve the bread in the aluminum foil. This dish pairs well with salads and stews.
