A protein present in the liver, spleen, and bone marrow that serves as a reservoir for storing iron.

Fentanyl is an opioid analgesic drug administered through injections to alleviate pain during surgical procedures and enhance general anesthesia. Additionally, it is employed in the form of a skin patch to manage severe chronic pain associated with conditions like cancer.

Like many other opioid drugs, fentanyl can lead to side effects such as depressed breathing, constipation, nausea, and vomiting. When using fentanyl patches, there is a possibility of experiencing local skin irritation as well.
