Farpoint

The greatest distance at which objects can be seen distinctly with the eyes in complete relaxation.


Point (normally 20 ft [6. 1 m] or more) at which distinct vision is possible without aid of the muscles of accommodation. It may be nearer than 20 ft (6.1 m) according to the degree of myopia. There is no far point in the hypermetropic eye.
