Endocervix

A membrane which lines the neck of the uterus.

The mucous membrane that lines the opening into the uterine cervix.

The thin, humidified sheath, known as the mucous membrane, gently coats the cervical conduit. This anatomical pathway, enveloped by the cervix or the womb’s anatomical isthmus, diligently provides a connection between the uterus and the vagina, the elements fundamental to the matriarchal reproduction machinery.
