Disseminated tuberculosis

The condition where the infectious disease tuberculosis has spread from its initial site of infection to affect multiple other parts of the body, either through the lymphatic system or the bloodstream, is called “disseminated tuberculosis” or “miliary tuberculosis.” In this state, the bacteria responsible for tuberculosis have disseminated widely throughout the body, leading to widespread infection and potential involvement of various organs.
