Crepinettes

A savory pie, commonly known as a pasty or turnover, typically prepared using pork sausage or alternative meat products and traditionally enveloped with a pig’s caul and cooked over a grill.

Crépinettes are small flat sausages that are wrapped in caul or very thin slices of salt pork. They are usually broiled, but can also be baked or sautéed. Crépinettes are often served on a bed of mashed potatoes.
