Christmas melon

This fruit specimen is identified as an elongated melon with a verdant exterior, prominently patterned with faint reticulations. Its succulent yet compact pulp is a shade of yellowish-green and exhales an exquisite scent. It belongs to the classification of winter melons, and when harvested in its unripe stage, it can be stored for a prolonged period and matures gradually until the rind turns somewhat yellow. This cultivar is commonly referred to as the Santa Claus melon.
