Cerebral hemispheres

Two structures that comprise the major part of the forebrain and serves as the main coordinating center of the nervous system.


One of the two paired halves of the cerebrum.


Consist of the neocortex and the white matter beneath it, the basal ganglia, the amygdala, and the hippocampus; the two hemispheres are connected by the corpus callosum.
