Undergraduate medical education
Medical education given before receipt of the M.D. or equivalent degree, usually the four years of study in medical, osteopathic, dental or podiatric school leading to a degree. This use contrasts with that in general education where undergraduate education refers to college education leading to the bachelor decree.
