Tenting of skin
A delay in the return of pinched skin to a flat position, after it has been tugged, elevated above the rest of the epidermis, and released. The return becomes progressively slower as the skin ages and subcutaneous elastic tissue decreases. It is also slowed in dehydrated persons.
