  • Prekallikreins

    Precursor of the kallikreins that are a group of serine proteases. These act on plasma a2-globulins to release kinins such as bradykinin, a potent vasodilator.  

  • Pregnenolone

    A steroid produced from cholesterol that is a precursor to cortisol and progesterone. A steroid synthesized in the adrenal glands, ovaries, and testes.
