  • Progesterone receptor

    A protein present on the cell surface that interacts with the female hormone progesterone; breast cancer cells frequently exhibit positivity for progesterone receptor (PR).  

  • Processus vaginalis

    A sac-like structure formed by the peritoneum (the lining of the abdominal cavity), which accompanies the testicles as they descend into the scrotum and develops into the tunica vaginalis.
