  • Pel-Ebstein’s disease

    An unusual pattern where a patient’s temperature increases for three days, remains elevated for another three days, then returns to normal for the subsequent three days before starting the cycle again. These three-day periods can stretch to 10 or 14 days for each phase. This phenomenon is linked with Hodgkin’s disease.  

  • Pegged tooth

    A term used to describe the distinct shape of the permanent teeth in individuals with congenital syphilis, resembling pegs at the top. This condition is also referred to as Hutchinson’s tooth.

    Continuous knee reflexes caused by pulling the kneecap downward and maintaining it in that position. This is an indicator of heightened muscle tone resulting from an issue with the nerve pathways known as the pyramidal tracts.
