Limb perfusion
A method for concentrating a dose of chemotherapy in an arm or leg affected by cancer. Large blood vessels near the tumor are cannulated, the limb is wrapped in a tourniquet, and chemotherapy is circulated into the limb. Isolated limb perfusion has been used to treat melanomas or sarcomas.
