  • Clubroot

    A disease of cabbages and related vegetables and ornamental plants in the brassica family, such as stocks, caused by the slime mold fungus Plasmodiophora brassica  

  • Cloche

    A deficiency of cellular elements in blood or tissue. Decrease in the number of the cells in blood or other tissue.  

  • Cytometer

    An instrument attached to a microscope, used for measuring and counting the number of cells in a specimen. An instrument for determining the number of cells in a given quantity of fluid, such as blood, cerebrospinal fluid, or urine. An instrument for counting and measuring cells.  

  • Cytological smear

    A sample of tissue taken for examination under a microscope.
