  • Chondro-osteodystrophy

    A childhood condition marked by disruptions in the growth plates at the ends of bones, leading to issues with height and overall growth. This condition shares similarities with achondroplasia and is also known as Morquio’s disease or Brailsford-Morquio’s disease.

    This is an Asian variety of cholera that manifests with abrupt onset, a relatively mild course, and swift recovery.

    The existence of bile in the bloodstream, resulting in jaundice. The presence of bile in the blood, which leads to jaundice.

  • Chlorodyne

    A pain-relief medication comprising chloroform, ether, alcohol, and morphine, with small amounts of diluted hydrocyanic acid. This medication was once commonly used to alleviate stomach ailments. It should not be administered to children without medical oversight.
