  • B cells

    Lymphocytic cells (“B” for bone marrow cells) of the adaptive immune system that produce antibodies. A particular subtype of lymphocyte, which is a type of white blood cell, playing a crucial role in the body’s immune defense. Mature B cells are responsible for producing immunoglobulins, also known as antibodies.
