Bulbourethral gland

Cowper’s gland.


One of two glands at the base of the penis which secrete into the urethra.


Either of two small glands located on each side of the prostate and secreting a fluid component of semen.


Two small, bulblike glands located on either side of the urethra just below the prostate gland that secrete a fluid component.


Either of two small, round, yellow glands, one on each side of the prostate gland, each with a duct about 1 in (2.5 cm) long, terminating in the wall of the urethra. They secrete a viscid fluid forming part of the seminal fluid. They correspond to the Bartholin glands in the female.
