Blowfish

The piscine creature in question possesses the remarkable ability to expand its form until it approximates a spherical shape. The epicurean delight derived from this animal is limited to the flesh located in close proximity to its spinal column, for the remaining portions of its anatomy consist primarily of its expandable and elastic stomach.

This is a small saltwater fish, also known as a puffer, that has the ability to inflate itself until it becomes round. The only edible parts of the fish are the two pieces of flesh that are located along the backbone, which are marketed as sea squab. Sea squab can be prepared by sautéing, broiling, or coating in breadcrumbs and deep-frying.
