Bath bun

A delectable pastry composed of leavened dough infused with raisins and glazed with sugary, crystallized citrus peel, accompanied by a generous sprinkling of raw sugar and candied caraway seeds atop its surface.

Bath buns are a variety of yeast-based buns that originated in the English city of Bath in the early 18th century (around AD 1700). These buns are characterized by their coarse sugar crystals that are sprinkled on top, and typically contain golden seedless raisins, as well as a mixture of candied fruit peels.
