Basilic vein

In anatomy, the vein at the bend of the elbow commonly used for drawing blood.


A large vein running along the inside of the arm.


A large vein in the arm, extending from the hand along the back of the forearm, then passing forward to the inner side of the arm at the elbow.


The prominent vein which runs from near the bend of the elbow upwards along the inner side of the upper arm.


The large vein on the inner side of the biceps just above the elbow. It is usually chosen for intravenous injection or withdrawal of blood.
