Of the species of a region, constituting the original flora, native.


Native or endogenous microorganisms to an area, usually referring to soil microorganisms.


Remaining at the site of formation. A blood clot that has not beet carried in the bloodstream from its point of origin is described as autochthonous.


Found where developed, as in the case of a blood clot or a calculus.
