  • Membranous dysmenorrhea

    A severe spasmodic dysmenorrhea that is accompanied by the passage of a cast or partial cast of the endometrial membrane.  

  • Dysmegalopsia

    Inability to visualize correctly the size of objects; they appear larger than they really are.  

  • Uterine dyskinesia

    Pain in the uterus on movement.  

  • Primary ciliary dyskinesia

    An autosomal-recessive syndrome in which faulty ciliary motion in the airways produces chronic lung infections and bronchiectasis.  

  • Dyskinesia intermittens

    Periodic or intermittent inability to execute voluntary limb movements.  

  • Dyskeratosis congenita

    A rare X-linked or autosomal dominant disease characterized by dystrophic formation of the nails, oral leukoplakia, and hyperpigmentation of the skin. Affected patients may also suffer bone marrow failure, resulting in aplastic anemia or pulmonary fibrosis.  

  • Dyskeratosis

  • Dyskaryosis

    Abnormality of the nucleus of a cell. Dyskaryosis refers to abnormal alterations observed in the nuclei of cells, especially during the initial phases of cancer. This condition can be identified through microscopic analysis of cells, commonly performed in procedures like a cervical smear test.  

  • Dyshemoglobin

    A hemoglobin derivative that is incapable of reversibly associating with oxygen, and so is unable to carry oxygen from the lungs to the cells. The primary defect in dyshemoglobins is a chemical (or stereochemical) alteration of the heme prosthetic group.
