  • Montgomery straps

    Paired adhesive straps applied to either side of a wound (usually abdominal), the central sections of which are folded back on themselves with several perforations at the leading edges. This provides a method of securing a bandage and subsequently changing it without having to replace the tape each time.

    An oxide having only one atom of oxygen.  

  • Monovision

    A treatment for presbyopia in which the dominant eye is corrected to improve distance vision and the other eye is corrected for near and intermediate tasks. Standard lenses, contact lenses, or refractive surgery may be used for the corrections. Said of a parasite that requires only one species as a host.  

  • Monotocous

    Producing a single offspring per birth.  

  • Monothematic delusion

    An isolated delusion, i.e., a single mistaken but firmly held idea that has no basis in reality.  

  • Monosymptomatic

    Having only one dominant symptom.  

  • Monosubstituted

    Having only a single molecule replaced.
