Disseminated neurodermatitis
Chronic superficial inflammation of the skin characterized by thickening, excoriation, and lichenification, usually beginning in infancy. It is common in families with a high incidence of allergic diseases.

Neurodendrite
Cytoplasmic branched process of a nerve cell.

Neurocytoma
A tumor formed of cells of nervous origin (usually ganglionic).

Neurocrine
Indicating an endocrine influence on nerves or the influence of nerves on endocrine tissue.

Neurocladism
Phenomenon occurring after a nerve is severed, where an outgrowth of axons meet to reestablish the nerve’s integrity.

Neurochoroiditis
Inflammation of the choroid coat and optic nerve.

Neurochorioretinitis
Inflammation of choroid and retina combined with optic neuritis.

Neuroaugmentation
Any method used to increase the function of a nerve, especially in managing pain. One example is transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation.

Neuroastrocytoma
A tumor of the central nervous system composed of neurons and glial cells.

Disease of a joint associated with disease of the central nervous system.
