Ascending neuropathy
Pathological condition of the nervous system that ascends from the lower part of the body to the upper.

AIDS peripheral neuropathy
Direct infection of peripheral nerves by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) resulting in sensory and motor changes due to destruction of axons or their myelin covering. Neuropathic arthritis
Arthritis associated with diseases of the nervous system. It occurs most commonly as a result of diabetes but can occur in tabes dorsalis, syphilis, and syringomyelia.

Neuropacemaker
An implantable device used to stimulate the brain or spinal cord (e.g., in the management of motor movement disorders or chronic and intractable pain). The electrical energy is provided in pulses at an appropriate rate to inhibit the perception of pain.
