Available at an institution. Many medical or surgical services are available in specialized or tertiary care facilities but not in smaller, rural, or less technologically developed hospitals or clinics.

The time between the administration of a medication or other form of treatment and the first evidence of its effect.

An antigen found on the surface of cancer cells that closely resembles antigens found on nerve cells. Antibodies formed by immune cells against onconeural antigens cause paraneoplastic syndromes.
