    Inflammation of the ovary and fallopian tube.  

  • Radial tuberosity

    bump on the inside (medial) surface of the proximal end of the radius bone onto which the distal tendon of the biceps brachii muscle attaches.  

  • Tuberosis

    A condition in which nodules develop; a nonspecific term that indicates no specific disease process.  

  • Tuberculum

    A small knot or nodule; a tubercle.  

  • Tuberculostatic

    Arresting the growth of the tubercle bacillus.  

  • Open tuberculosis

    Tuberculosis in which the tubercle bacilli are present in bodily secretions that leave the body. Tuberculosis that is in an active state and contagious to others.  

  • Multidrug resistant tuberculosis

    Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacilli that are resistant to therapy with at least two standard antitubercular drugs (especially isoniazid and rifampin, the two drugs that have formed the cornerstone of therapy for tuberculosis).
