Aden fever

A viral illness that is transmitted through mosquito bites and is both contagious and infectious. It can occur as either an endemic or an epidemic. After an incubation period of three to five days, the disease manifests suddenly and is marked by bouts of high fever, intense muscle and bone pain, joint inflammation and redness, and occasionally a skin rash.

The temperature could reach up to 106°F. This fever typically endures for three to four days before briefly diminishing, only to return again in a cyclical pattern. Although complications are uncommon, the illness is highly draining and recovery takes time. This disease is also known as break-bone fever, dandy fever, or dengue.
