Goniotomy

A surgical operation to treat glaucoma by cutting Schlemm’s canal.


An operation for congenital glaucoma in which a fine knife is used to make an incision into Schlemm’s canal from within the eye. It is the first stage of gonio-puncture.


A surgical procedure for removing obstructions to the free flow of aqueous humor into the canal of Schlemm of the eye.
