The top part of the nose where it joins the forehead.

In dentistry, an oral appliance that replaces missing teeth and is attached to adjacent normal teeth for support.


An irremovable prosthesis, almost always of metal, that bears false teeth to replace extracted teeth, thus bridging the gap between the remaining natural teeth. It is cemented to heavy metal inlays in the remaining teeth at each end of the gap.


A dental prosthesis consisting of one or multiple artificial teeth supported by crowns attached to neighboring teeth.
