Fibrositis

Inflammation of fibrous tissue.


A painful inflammation of the fibrous tissue which surrounds muscles and joints, especially the muscles of the back.


Inflammation of fibrous connective tissue, especially an acute inflammation of back muscles and their sheaths, causing pain and stiffness.


Pain, muscular stiffness and inflammation affecting the soft tissues of the arms, legs and trunk. The cause is unknown, but may include immunological factors, muscular strain and psychological stress. Treatment is usually palliative.


Inflammation affecting fibrous structures like ligaments, tendons, muscle coverings, and fasciae, also known as muscular rheumatism.
