Salicylate drugs

A category of medications, which includes aspirin and benorilate, known for their anti-inflammatory, fever-reducing, and mild pain-relieving effects. Ingesting excessive amounts of salicylate drugs can result in symptoms such as hyperventilation, ringing in the ears (tinnitus), excessive sweating, unusual bleeding, disruptions in biochemical balance, and in severe instances, it can trigger seizures and lead to a state of unconsciousness (coma).
