Klippel–Fiel syndrome

This condition is defined by an unusually short neck resulting from fused cervical vertebrae. Those affected experience limited neck mobility and possess a low-set hairline.


When the tendon below the kneecap, or patella, is tapped, an automatic reaction called the patellar reflex occurs. This causes the thigh muscles to contract and straighten the knee.
