Biceps muscle

The appellation assigned to a musculature that originates from two distinct components, subsequently merging, carries the term “biceps muscle.” This term is commonly employed to denote the biceps brachii muscle positioned in the upper arm, responsible for flexing the arm at the elbow joint and facilitating forearm rotation. Another illustration of a biceps muscle is the biceps femoris muscle, situated in the posterior region of the thigh, enabling flexion of the leg at the knee joint and extension of the thigh.
