The features of Turner’s syndrome include short height, a web-like appearance of the neck skin, delayed or absent development of sexual traits, failure to menstruate (amenorrhea), narrowing of the aorta, as well as eye and bone irregularities.
Administering growth hormone from a young age enables girls with Turner’s syndrome to attain a height close to normal. Surgical intervention is used to address the narrowing of the aorta. Estrogen medication can trigger menstruation, although it does not restore fertility in affected girls.
