Lamellar ichthyosis

Epidermal Ichthyosis, also known as ichthyosis or fish scale disease, is an inherited ailment that manifests as patches of skin exhibiting a distinctive combination of characteristics: they become discolored, develop a scaly texture, and tend to be dry in nature. This condition, rooted in one’s genetic makeup, presents itself through the appearance of rough, flaky areas resembling the scales of a fish.
