Spruce beer

A beverage cherished along the Western coast of Canada, renowned for its popularity. This libation is crafted without the use of barley. Instead, the branches, cones, and bark of black spruce undergo a prolonged boiling process. Subsequently, they are combined with molasses, hops, and yeast within a cask, where fermentation takes place, culminating in the creation of this distinctive drink.
