Sea bass

Sea bass, a significant species valued in commerce and recreational fishing, belongs to a vast piscine family encompassing various groupers. This coveted fish thrives along the shores of both North American coastlines, with the Pacific variant boasting slightly grander proportions. The weight range for a sea bass spans from 4 to 5 pounds, presenting a diverse spectrum. Smaller specimens are commonly prepared intact, while their larger counterparts can be expertly dissected into fillets or transformed into delectable steak cuts.
